Actually, it sets the download site (/downloaded) to download the latest beta! So, just to clarify that for everyone. I mistakenly assumed that opting into Early releases meant that I might get some email from Dropbox saying I was eligible for trying out their beta release, but I wasn't guaranteed this. Thus, I have avoided issues with Dropbox's online-only functionality as they update it to work with newer Macs. One has been set so that everything is downloaded and nothing is online-only.
